Xiaomi Mi 5X in the market. Now, a new report suggest that the company is launching a new edition of the Mi 6 smartphone. Mi 5X has 4GB RAM which is enough to make it a loved device among gaming enthusiasts.

The handset sports a 6GB RAM and is available in 64GB and 128GB storage variants although the new Mercury Silver Edition will be available only on 128GB option along with 6GB RAM. We saw a glimpse of the Mercury Silver Edition in April, but now we finally have more information.

Xiaomi Mi 5X is mid range smartphone and as is the case with devices from this eminent Chinese firm Mi 5X has some serious features and specs that make it a threat for handsets in the same price range. It will go on sale in China from 1st August.

We're not just talking about silver metal finish here but really shiny mercury silver-almost like chrome. The phone looks colorless and you can even see your own face on the phone which looks like a mirror. It is backed up by Adreno 540 graphics on it. MIUI 8.0 is also on top of the processor which is special for Xiaomi devices.

Xiaomi Mi5X comes with dual camera setup on its back side, it comes with a 12 Megapixel rear camera and 12 Megapixel secondary camera with Dual-tone LED flash and Phase Detection AutoFocus. It comes with a Portrait Mode for bokeh effects, similar to the iPhone 7 Plus and the OnePlus 5. You can record a full HD video with 1080 pixels through the front facing camera of the phone.

Its connectivity options include 4G, VoLTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, NFC, Wi-Fi Direct WLAN, Bluetooth, USB Type-C and USB Type-C. The phone features a front mounted Fingerprint Scanner at the front panel to add more security to the device.

Now the company has chose to launch the Mercury Silver Edition of the Mi 6 (6GB+128GB) on 3rd of August for RMB 3999 (approx $592). It packs a 3,000 mAh Battery with Fast Charging.
