Mayweather served two months in jail following his guilty plea to misdemeanor domestic battery.

The fight will be contested at 154 pounds and be presented live on Showtime pay-per-view (PPV) from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Boxing referee Joe Cortez was officiating and is seen frantically rushing to intervene as McGregor stands menacingly over his opponent who is crumpled on the canvas. Mayweather accused Harris of secretly texting the basketball player, which led to the domestic violence incident.

Though McGregor previously taunted Mayweather with a Watson-centric tweet in January, Harris issued a plea to the 29-year-old fighter to cease the exploitation of her traumatic past for personal gain.

"Now ask yourself why I'm rocking CJ when I don't know or give a f** a href="http://www.independent.ie/news-topics/conor-mcgregor/" *Conor McGregor refrain from capitalising off of the trauma suffered by her and other victims of domestic abuse".

We are now less than a month away from the much-discussed fight between Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather in what is expected to be the most lucrative prize fight of all time.

"[The stunt] demonstrates not only an insensitivity toward the emotional wellbeing and privacy of the victim of Mayweather's dom. violence, but also a general disregard for the physical and emotional trauma and long-lasting psychological impacts suffered by victims of dom. abuse", Josie's attorney, Dan Friedlander, tells TMZ Sports.
