With the movie building directly on what was created in the first film, it seemed likely that a few new faces would appear given that heroes appear to once again be en vogue. There was news on many films already known of and some which don't even have titles as of yet.
Incredibles 2 also prompted loud cheers. The raccoon bears a strong resemblance to the robber in the movie Jack-Jack is watching so he immediately starts moving toward him. In another post we will cover Walt Disney Animation Studios. Meet Ralph. New scenes from the upcoming "Wreck-it Ralph" sequel teased numerous Disney worlds colliding in one place: the Internet.
A mockumentary clip was also shown regarding fan favorite, stylist Edna Mode. Look for the now untitled movie to hit theaters on April 12th, 2019.
Kristen Bell entered the stage to preview "Olaf's Frozen Adventure". Olaf ventures out with Sven to find some for them and bring them back to the kingdom while singing fantastic-sounding, and hilarious, new songs. While the studio has had no problems with releasing sequels and prequels, finding the right story to tell for a new Incredibles film hasn't been easy. The filmmakers did research for the movie in Norway, Iceland, and Finland. Sarah Silverman, the voice of Ralph's gal pal Venellope, was on hand to deliver the big news. What started off a little gimmicky-Ralph and his sidekick Vanellope battle pop-up ads and listicles as they invade the internet-turned into full-blown self-parody as Disney Animations weaponized its most famous product: Princesses.
The D23 Expo is in full swing.
"'Incredibles 2' is really a family film, it's just that the family happens to have super powers", Bird said.
Oh, and Sarah Silverman, too, who kinda sorta is a Disney princess now, at least that's the premise of the scene from "Ralph Wrecks The Internet: Wreck-it Ralph 2", that introduced her character Vanellope to all of the princesses, which was the reason why a lot of them from that scene were on hand to walk out and dazzle the crowd.
The sequel, which was originally due for release in 2019 but has switched release spots with Toy Story 4, is now due out next year, and will pick up right where the first movie finished, with The Underminer attacking the city.
So much news, not enough titles. The story will follow two characters who live in a world that is "a mixture of the fantastic and everyday". The film will feature a magical world without humans where unicorns are so common they're essentially rodents. Chances are, more footage from this movie will turn up on Saturday.
