It may not be the most high-profile game of a loaded Week 2 slate, but Cincinnati's visit to MI is an intriguing noon matchup with several storylines to keep an eye on for both sides. Mike Boon led the Bearcats in the win by rushing for 100 yards on 19 carries with one touchdown.

The Wolverines will meet the Bearcats for the first time but face a familiar foe in Cincinnati coach Luke Fickell, who spent 14 years on the Ohio State coaching staff - including a season as the interim head coach in 2011 after Jim Tressel resigned amidst a tattoo scandal.

The Michigan Wolverines (1-0) are coming from a 33-17 win over the Florida Gators in week 1 of the college football. Hayden Moore had 151 passing yards with three touchdowns. MI came away with a 33-17 victory over No. 16 Florida in their season opener on Sunday at Arlington, Texas. The 16-point margin easily covered the spread but still wasn't indicative of Michigan's dominance.

The interception also was Michigan's first of the season, and fourth turnover. Michigan LB Devin Bush had seven tackles against Florida, including two sacks and another stop for a loss. Defensively, Michigan football yields 17.0 points and 192.0 total yards per game, 181.0 in passing and 11.0 in rushing. The question of covering the spread will be if the Wolverines can move the ball enough on Cincinnati.

The Florida defense returned two Wilton Speight interceptions for touchdowns (both were returned 45+ yards) to keep the game close into the third quarter. MI is 5-2 against the spread in their last 7 non-conference games and 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games in September. Get $60 worth of FREE premium member picks.
