The bad news, according to TMZ, was that Kanye West has split with the company and that Tidal has threatened a lawsuit to keep him from taking his work to any rival streaming service.
Jay-Z is still so steamed over his falling out with Kanye West that he addressed it on his new album 4:44 - almost nine months after West ranted about Jay-Z and wife Beyoncé onstage.
We're told the feud stems from West "forcing [his wife] Kim Kardashian" on the Carters. But many would argue that his most noted accomplishment is marrying Beyonce. "Kanye is frustrated that his wife does not have a better relationship with Beyoncé", the source states.

This same source doesn't have much hope that Kanye and Jay Z will ever make up.

"Their relationship is familial..." The rapper - known for his rants on social media - has kept a low profile since Jay Z released his surprise album.
