The incident went down Friday on a flight scheduled from Atlanta to Des Moines. The outlet also reports that Migos' manager is accusing Delta of racial profiling in kicking the group off the plane. Their manager, however, told TMZ that Takeoff failed to follow instructions and place his bag in the bin because he was asleep.
According to the outlet the group's members-Quavo, Offset, and Takeoff-were flying first class from Atlanta to Iowa when a flight attendant noticed that one of Takeoff's bags was in the aisle and not in the overhead storage.
A Delta spokesperson said the group refused to follow the flight attendants' instructions to fasten their seat belts and stow their carry-on bags, but the manager said Takeoff, Quavos and Offset were simply exhausted and asleep. Do you think it's tied to racial profiling or were they simply kicked off for not following the rules? That's what a video posted on TMZ claims, though the airline says otherwise.
In video posted by TMZ, the manager is heard telling a Delta crew member that they were going to sue because the group did nothing wrong.
They have a 10 PM show scheduled in Des Moines.
Whole the plane was taxiing up to the runway, Takeoff's bag was still on the floor and that's when the pilot stopped the plane and ordered the rapper to be remove from the aircraft.
Delta must have agreed because the Migos made that Iowa concert on time - apparently on an "entire plane" just for them.
The trio reportedly managed to book an alternate flight to Des Moines, also on Delta.
