"And so I think the President is probably right to say, like, look, you're witch-hunting me".
After the video was released, President Donald Trump posted it on his Instagram page, along with a message that called CNN "fake news".
Earlier Thursday, Van Jones published a piece to CNN's website offering a defense for his comments in a video released by conservative activist James O'Keefe on Wednesday - in which Jones was heard saying "The whole Russian Federation thing is a big nothing-burger".
"I honestly can't figure out the thought process of people who work at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue anymore", Jones wrote.
"The notion that I think Trump is innocent of all wrongdoing in Russiagate is ludicrous".
After being secretly filmed by conservative organization Project Veritas, CNN political commentator Van Jones said his words on Russian Federation were taken out of context and called the video a "hoax". I made it very clear to them that the story was not accurate and that it was a defamatory story.
"Let's be frank here", she stated, "it's a one-percenter's conversation".
"It needed to be retracted, otherwise I think I needed to get more aggressive, but I didn't go to sue them or anything like that", he said.
On Thursday, Project Veritas founder James O'Keefe tracked down CNN President Jeff Zucker for a comment on these telling video's.
Jimmy Carr, the Associate Producer for CNN's New Day was caught on video saying CNN is impartial "in theory" and calling American voters "stupid as [expletive]".
"Ninety percent of us are on board with just the fact that he's insane", he recorded as saying.
Here's the deal, this is a man who's not actually a Republican.
"He doesn't believe anything that these people believe", Carr continued. He doesn't give a s**t about abortion. As of press time, CNN has not released a statement about the audio tape in question.
Obviously, Kellyanne Conway disagrees with the concept that cable television is interested in "diversity," especially when it comes to her and the rest of the Trump administration.
