Considering Monument Valley 2 was unveiled earlier today at Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference, I suspect we won't be seeing it on Android all that soon.
In the past Monument Valley 2 studio Ustwo Games was against a sequel.
The original was a clever puzzle romp that vamped on non-Euclidean geometry, asking that you guide a character through architecturally minimalist levels that seemed at first blush impossible to traverse. This is a standalone story, without the need to play the original game in order to understand this one.
"We wanted to find the ideal reason to return to Monument Valley, and the story of a mother who's not only a parent but a creator of this world is a narrative we felt compelled to tell", Dan Gray, head of studio at ustwo Games, said in a press release.
You really can't go wrong picking this up, so go ahead and grab it at the link above.
For those unfamiliar with Monument Valley, you played as Princess Ida as she navigated Escher-esque platforms and castles to reach new, unexplored territory. It's a lot cheaper than the new iPad Pros.
There's a really cool chillstep trailer featuring some of the geometrical artwork, animated designs, and logic puzzles that players will encounter while playing through Monument Valley 2. You'll assume the role of Ro as she teaches her child the mysteries of the valley.

Well, the team is back at it again with Monument Valley 2, which recently launched on mobile devices. Anyway, the game is available for those interested in it.
