The White House did not comment on what Trump was doing at the course, but reporters witnessed golf clubs being taken out of the President's motorcade, CNN noted. Bob Corker, R-Tenn., right, exit vehicles after arriving on the South Lawn of the White House in Washington, Sunday, June 4, 2017. Corker joined POTUS at Trump Intl Golf Club today.

Trump was making his 23rd trip to one of his golf courses since becoming President on January 20, 2017.

Manning and President Donald Trump, along with Republican Sen. Manning's visit coincided with Trump's humiliating decision to attack London Mayor Sadiq Khan who was trying to reassure citizens in the wake of the attacks. Trump was once a vocal critic of former President Barack Obama's golf trips. Later in the day, Corker introduced Manning at the Ford's Theatre Gala, where Manning was recognized for philanthropic work. The event was attended by some of the most prominent, including Trump and Vice President Mike Pence. "He is a very good guy".

"I don't know where that came from".

However, wisely, Manning didn't wear his bathrobe this past Sunday.

Manning contributed to Jeb Bush's campaign for president a year ago.

Manning denied rumors that he was going to run for Senate in Tennessee earlier this year.

Manning, the first pick in the 1998 NFL Draft by the Colts, played 13 seasons in Indianapolis and four more with the Denver Broncos from 2012 to 2015 before retiring as the league's all-time leading passer.
