The problem is the game has to be close enough for him to matter in the fourth quarter. "Our schedule is a little front-end loaded right now and that's fine". He leads BC with 228 yards rushing, but just a 3.7-yard average. It was the first time since 2013 Addazio's team had a quarterback with 20 completions and a 100-yard rusher. Quarterback Anthony Brown is averaging fewer than five yards per pass attempt. Jon Hilliman ran for 122 yards on 22 carries.
"It was another opportunity for him to mature and grow", Swinney said. The Tigers will roll in this one - the only question is whether the team's backups will get a chance to play Saturday.

Clemson, the defending national champions, are heavy favorites to beat the Eagles Saturday, but optimism is the only choice for the underdogs. It's due for another shellacking Saturday if it can't find a way to stop a Clemson team that just hung 47 points on the Cardinals.
