Free agent forwards Blake Griffin and Paul Millsap will meet with the Phoenix Suns after the National Basketball Association free agency moratorium period begins Saturday, reports John Gambadoro of 98.7 FM, Arizona's Sports Station. Other news included Blake Griffin re-signing with the Clippers, Ricky Rubio's trade to Utah, and the expectation that Jeff Teague would sign with Minnesota.
The Boston Celtics and the rest of the National Basketball Association are preparing for all hell to break loose at 12:01 a.m. ET on July 1. The players earn their money for 82 games throughout the regular season, but front office executives earn their checks away from the court in June and July.
And considering that Paul George could be dealt at any second - and potentially impact a free agent or two - this year's free agency period could go down as one of the craziest player movements since 2010. With big names opting out of their final contracts and a number of players like Pual George and Paul Millsap wanting to get traded, things are about to get even more exciting once offseason begins this weekend.
Boston is in the arms race for star talent as well.
Ahead of the festivities, we predict where each of the top 15 free agents will land.
