Simmons and the Spurs have had no new negotiations since the qualifying offer was pulled Thursday, and Simmons has focused fully on signing elsewhere, agent Cervando Tejeda told The Vertical.
Simmons has been with the Spurs for two years after working his way up from the developmental league.

San Antonio originally tended a $1.6 million qualifying offer to Simmons to make him a restricted free agent back on June 21, but it has now made a decision to renounce his rights.

The 27-year-old Simmons was a late bloomer in the National Basketball Association. He joined the Cavaliers in the Las Vegas Summer League, averaging 14.3 points and five rebounds in three games.
A 2013 undrafted guard from the University of IL in 2013, Paul saw action for four games with the Dallas Mavericks in the Orlando Summer League where he averaged 16.5 points and 5.5 rebounds.
