Kid Rock worked Twitter into a frenzy late Wednesday afternoon (July 12) when he confirmed that a new Kid Rock for Senate website was, in fact, legit.
The website features a picture of Rock seated on a star-spangled throne and advertises logoed T-shirts, yard-signs, hats and stickers. The site also boasts a variety of slogans, including "In Rock We Trust", "Born Free" and, um, "Pimp of the Nation".
If you still aren't convinced that Kid Rock is actually running for office, the MI rocker, born Robert Ritchie, assures fans that the site is legit. "The answer is an absolute YES". Stay tuned, I will have a major announcement in the near future - Kid Rock Both of Michigan's senators are Democrats at the moment but it is Debbie Stabenow who is running in 2018. Kid Rock has made himself a presence in politics in recent years; last year, he endorsed Donald Trump for president and then, alongside Ted Nugent, visited Trump in the White House. And not just a regular ol' Republican: He's a full on Trump supporter.
