Investigators say they were called to a "disturbance" involving several men in downtown Beaverton, where they found the man on the ground Friday night.
Durham police are investigating the region's sixth homicide of the year after a man was killed in Beaverton Friday night.
When police arrived on scene, a 21-year-old man had collapsed on Dundas Street.
Paramedics took him to a hospital in Orillia, where he died.
Police have not yet identified the victim and say next-of-kin are now being notified.
Officers received information about a second man suffering from a stab wound.
A 35-years-old victim was located by officers in the area of the incident and was treated in hospital for injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
The region's homicide unit is investigating.
