A month after it was initially announced, Android Pay finally offers official support for PayPal integration. Users of Google’s mobile payment service would be able to pay for their purchases using their PayPal account.

Android Pay lets you check out quickly and easily in some of your favorite stores and apps – gone are the days of fumbling for credit cards and counting cash.

For example, Apple Pay launched in Canada with support only for American Express cards back in November 2015, before expanding to additional cards and Canadian financial institutions in May 2016.

Starting today, Android Pay is available in Russian Federation – which means you’ll be able to enjoy a simpler and more secure way to pay across all 11 time zones. However, since it creates a Discover card, it poses one small problem: That you would be able to make payments only on terminals where discover cards are accepted.

There are already “thousands” of stores and establishments where Android owners can go to and use Android Pay, like Burger King, Starbucks, H&M, McDonalds, and a lot of other local brands and businesses.

Users are now seeing the splash screen which informs them that the integration is live.

Not only this, Google has also updated its Android Pay US help page, adding PayPal as an option in Supported accounts & services category. “Just tap the “Add to Android Pay” button to enable your card in Android Pay without entering your card information”.

Once those steps have been completed, a PayPal option should appear in your Android Pay app.
