Those who wish to buy it through the iPhone Upgrade Program will need to pay at least $39.50 a month or $799 in full. It's unknown whether T-Mobile has less stock or if demand from that company's customers is higher. They can activate the latter with any carrier later on. Italian users still see the 22-25 September shipping estimate.
Beginning Friday, September 15, AT&T will supposedly be offering one of such deals: a "buy-one-get-one free" on some its best-selling smartphones, including the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus.
Availability of carrier-specific iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus models appears to be substantially better on Apple's site than unlocked versions. Pre- orders for the third model, the iPhone X will start October 27.
