Fire Emblem Warriors, launching for the Nintendo Switch and New Nintendo 3DS family of systems on October 20, is a game overflowing with action-packed content.
Just less than a month before the hack-and-slash game "Fire Emblem Warriors" is released in the US, Nintendo has finally revealed details regarding the additional content of the game after it is released.
The slow trickle of content for Fire Emblem Warriors has been tortuous for some fans.
That said, Navarre, Oboro, Niles, and Owain act as NPCs in the story mode, so it's still unsure if they're unlockable characters.
Gharnef, Iago and previously-shown original character Darius are faced as enemies during the story mode; whether or not they are playable remains to be seen, as well. Celica uses a sword and light magic in battle, while Caeda is a Pegasus Rider and Tiki wields a Dragon Stone. There are now three expansions planned for the game, one of which will release later this year.
Fire Emblem Warriors is set for a Japanese release for the New Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Switch on September 28th, with a launch due in North America, Europe and Australia on October 20th.
As reported by GameSpot, the first DLC pack will be released in December and may include content influenced by the most recent "Fire Emblem Fates". Each DLC pack is filled with new playable characters and weapons.
Eagle-eyed fans recently spotted Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon's Navarre in a European trailer, further adding to the ongoing speculation of which characters will be represented in the full game. Furthermore, players who purchase the Season Pass will also receive a bridal costume for Lucina.
"Fire Emblem Warriors" is a spinoff Musou game that brings together iconic heroes from the series. Mechanics like permadeath, support conversations, and a leveling system will all be included in the upcoming title.
While the game will be released exclusively for the Nintendo Switch and 3DS, the company has confirmed a special edition exclusive only for the Switch.
