Nas celebrated his 44th birthday, which is actually September 14, in a night filled with fun good music and close friends, apparently so close that he felt comfortable enough to show PDA with his rumored boo Nicki Minaj. Now, from the looks of it, that "friendship" has only grown more intimate as the months wore on.

But what caused a lot of fan reaction was the videos circulating the Internet, in which Nas was caught nuzzling or licking Minaj's face. Minaj admitted that she has spent the night with the "Illmatic" rapper but admitted she was trying to keep control in the blossoming relationship, and she would often make the decision as to how they would be spending time together and whose home the gathering would take place at. It begins with Nas showering Nicki with a bunch of kisses. The Illmatic rapper met Minaj on the set of the 2012 video "Right By My Side", where they hit it off nearly immediately.
Now, the duo are reminding folks that their relationship is here to stay, and from the clip, we clearly see how smitten Nas is by the female MC. Nas is a best friend to her so as of now nothing is stirring up. It's not like Nas, or Nicki for that matter, were waiting on pins and needles for approval from the male rapper's former flame, but that kind of endorsement from an ex isn't necessarily a bad thing in some cases.
It's not the first time Nicki and Nas have been linked, with the singer telling Ellen DeGeneres she finds him "so dope" back in May. "Oh my God, stop!" she yells while laughing. "We're both from Queens". "He's the king. He is the King of Queens, and I'd like to think I'm the Queen of Queens". Nicki surprisingly responded with an affirmative. "I just thought him coming to me was too forward", she explained.
