Nike released Cleveland's new "Statement Edition" uniforms on Friday night and, as did the old black uniforms, the new threads feature the Cavaliers "C" upon the chest with a black base.
At the event, Nike had a representative player from every team come out in a hoodie to hide the new jerseys. Nike has already been unveiling several special edition "statement" jerseys that will be available this season, including the Warriors' "The Town" jersey and a uniform honoring the Cavs' games 5 and 7 of the 2016 Finals.
The Cavs will wear debut these jerseys on the court at Quicken Loans Arena when they play the Charlotte Hornets on November 24.
In addition to the new uniforms, Nike and the National Basketball Association debuted the Nike Therma Flex Showtime Warm-up Jacket, the first on-court warm-up jacket with a performance hood.
The Statement Edition is the third in a collection of four new Nike uniforms that will be worn during the 2017-18 season. The trim on the shoulders and collar is wine, as is the waistband on the shorts that showcases the word "CAVS" front and center. "One For All." A fourth uniform will be revealed later this year. Then, just as quickly as they arrived, they left to the side.
