Taylor's last album, "1989", was extremely successful and even earned her the Grammy for "Album of the Year".
Titled Look What You Made Me Do, off her upcoming sixth studio album Reputation, she is fired up as she confronts an enemy - one whose actions are to blame for whatever happens next.
The scene is a reference to the fallout that greeted the pop star after Kim Kardashian West leaked a recorded conversation between Swift and Kanye West, suggesting the pop star gave West permission to use the line "I made that bitch famous".
They were quick to slam Taylor Swift for copying Beyonce's dance routine during the short clip.
Swift, 27, had her new song downloaded just under 200,000 times in the first 24 hours.
After that, Swift has only appeared at a few events while working in a limited capacity compared to usual, eventually dropping completely from the public eye.
Swift was the sole writer of her 2010 album, Speak Now. Every tweet, post and picture were washed away while fans sat on the edge of their seat in anxious anticipation.
The "Look What You Made Me Do" single was released on Thursday night, followed by a video teaser on Friday afternoon.
To further prove her point, the 30-year-old quipped to one commenter, "I don't now have any photos of me clawing my way out of the grave, but I'm going to work on it".
