After the announcement of the twin stay in the maternity hospital due to micro-complications (which are probably overcome), it is the first news we hear from the Beyonce-Jay-Z and no photos have yet been published. According to the sources, the power couple of Music industry has named their twins, reportedly a daughter and a son, Rumi Carter and Sir Carter.
Beyoncé and JAY-Z's company has reportedly filed papers to trademark the monikers for everything from fragrances and cosmetics to baby gear, tote bags and water bottles. For the anecdote, know that "Rumi" would be a tribute to a Persian poet of the 13th century and "Sir" a reference to one of his most famous writings. SOUND OFF in the comments (below)!
American stars Beyonce and JAY-Z gave their babies unusual names that have already had patented.
They are, of course, honouring a long-standing pop tradition of giving offspring esoteric names.
While there has been no official comment from the couple's camp, the same company filed for a Blue Ivy trademark earlier this year. But not only does JAY-Z's 4:44 provide several quotable lyrics, it also offers a front row seat to some of his most personal thoughts.
"We have been blessed two times over". If the family grows, the Carter Empire does the same.
Beyonce and Jay-Z have remained characteristically mysterious about the babies. "I definitely love being a big sister", Beyonce said, referring to little sister, Grammy-nominated singer Solange Knowles.
