It's time for the first look at one one next year's most anticipated films.
A brand new trailer for director Ava DuVernay's dazzling adaptation of the beloved novel premiered on Saturday during the live-action film panel at D23, Disney's biennial fan expo in Anaheim, California. Who, Chris Pine as Mr. Murry, Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Mrs. Murry, Zach Galifianakis as The Happy Medium, André Holland as Principal Jenkins, and Bellamy Young, Rowan Blanchard, and Will McCormack.
Like Oprah, Mindy Kaling, and Reese Witherspoon, who play a trio of celestial beings.
Duvernay, Reid, Pine, Winfrey and Witherspoon came out to big applause. What if we are part of something truly divine? Set to a moody cover of "Sweet Dreams", it showed wondrous new worlds, wonderful costumes and quite a few creepy moments and action set pieces. This is a great first look and I can't wait to see more. "A family story wrapped in an epic adventure where you see worlds you've never seen before".
"Ms. Ava of course is so patient and so hands on". One of the things that really made me want to read it was when he said, 'Ava, imagine what you would do with the worlds.' Worlds!
Kaling said her character, Mrs. But it's wonderful. I mean, this is a character who only speaks in the wisest sayings, and it crosses all cultures, all continents, all centuries. She discovered A Wrinkle in Time as an adult and connected with the science fantasy story's themes and worldview.
Witherspoon said she was a huge fan of the book growing up.
"I just thought it was so magical that Ava chose to put her handsome direction toward this material", said Witherspoon. Who, and Mrs. Which, the children fearless a risky journey to a planet that possesses all of the evil in the universe.
They showed off a new poster, and Winfrey got huge applause by parodying her famous vehicle giveaway, yelling, "Everybody gets a poster!" And you get a poster!
Frozen's Jennifer Lee wrote the script.
Disney, Marvel and Lucasfilm are all presenting never-before-seen footage and behind-the-scenes glimpses at their upcoming movies, including "Thor: Ragnarok", "Black Panther", "Avengers: Infinity War", "Star Wars: The Last Jedi", "A Wrinkle In Time" and "Mary Poppins Returns".
