"(Qatar) embraces multiple terrorist and sectarian groups aimed at disturbing stability in the region, including the Muslim Brotherhood, ISIS (Islamic State) and al-Qaeda, and promotes the message and schemes of these groups through their media constantly", the Saudi state news agency SPA said.
Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and other Arab countries cut diplomatic as well as travel and trade ties with Qatar last week, accusing it of supporting Iran and funding Islamist groups.
The Foreign Office of Pakistan while expressing deep concern over severing of ties with Qatar by Saudi Arabia and its allies had reiterated that Pakistan will play its role to unite the Muslim states.
Qatar has rejected the accusations, calling them "unjustified" and "baseless".
"At the moment there is nothing on Qatar issue, (we) will issue a statement if some development takes place", Zakaria added. Al Thani has visited multiple European countries in recent days seeking diplomatic support. Doha denies the charges.
