In 2011, a pair of shoes that were a duplicate of the ones Princess Diana wore for her wedding to Prince Charles were auctioned by La Galleria in London.
The Princess said the "Camilla thing" had been in her head throughout her engagement and "as I walked up the aisle, I was looking for her".
More than 750million people tuned in when Charles married Diana in St Paul's Cathedral in 1981 - not knowing there were already cracks in the marriage. As a result, Diana threw herself down the stairs. I'm going riding now.' So I threw myself down the stairs.
Recently revealed tapes show the extent of sadness Princess Diana endured during her marriage. "I was just so desperate".
She said: "It was at the Expo [visit to Expo '86, a world transport and communication fair in Vancouver] where I passed out". Diana was even more depressed after the wedding and honeymoon got over.
Diana also tells of how she became depressed while living in Balmoral, and how people would comment on the amount of weight she'd lost. It rained and rained and rained. She added: "All the analysts and psychiatrists you could ever dream of came plodding in trying to sort me out".
She revealed in the tapes that she had suffered "appalling dreams".
The recording is believed to have taken place in 1991 and remained secret for over 20 years - until now.
Her sons, William and Harry, have spoken recently about how the sadness of losing their mum so early still haunts them.
Diana's recordings were aired on American television in 2004 when they were used as part of a series about her. The then-14-year-old Prince William reportedly said to her: "Don't worry, Mummy, I will give it back to you one day when I am king".
The "People's Princess" was killed in a vehicle crash in Paris on 31 August 1997.
Transcriptions of tapes, in which Diana spoke candidly of attempts to kill herself, suffering from bulimia, and Prince Charles' affair with Camilla Parker Bowles, were released after the Princess' death in 1997 - five years after the book had originally been published. In 1992, Andrew wrote a book titled "Diana: Her True Story - In Her Own Words" revealing the details of palace intrigue, vicious royal infightings.
