Prime Minister Theresa May said soldiers who have been patrolling streets would be withdrawn gradually from midnight Monday.

The images show Abedi in the hours before the attack, wearing sneakers, jeans, a dark jacket and a baseball cap.

Abedi, a 22-year-old Briton of Libyan descent who grew up in Manchester, died in Monday's explosion.

Police also made a further appeal to the public for information to help trace Abedi's activity between his arrival in the United Kingdom and the attack.

"In the past five days, we have gathered significant information about Abedi, his associates, his finances, the places he had been, how the device was built and the wider conspiracy", they said in a statement.

According to reports, a door was blown off at the house where the raid was being carried out.

Mr Rees, 29, said: "We just want to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the people of Manchester today".

A property was being searched as Greater Manchester Police attempt to close the net on the suspected terror network behind attacker Salman Abedi.

The terror network behind Manchester bomber Salman Abedi could still be at large, the Home Secretary said, as the hunt for accomplices continued at "full tilt".

Twenty-two people, including seven children, were killed and scores injured when Abedi launched a suicide attack at Manchester Arena on Monday night.

The attack, which has been claimed by the Islamic State jihadist group, targeted young fans at the end of a concert by USA teen pop idol Ariana Grande.

On Saturday, police said they had identified the location where they believe Abedi assembled the bomb which was used in the attack.

Britain reduced its terrorism threat level a notch, from "critical" to "severe" on Saturday, as authorities said they had made major progress in unravelling the plot behind the Manchester concert bombing.

A threat level of severe means an attack is highly likely.

"They will be on my mind and in my heart everyday and I will think of them with everything I do for the rest of my life".

A total of 116 people were treated in hospitals after the bombing.

Mr Rowley told the public: "Enjoy yourselves and be reassured by the greater policing presence you will see".

The Sasquatch Music Festival, happening May 26-28 in George, Washington, alerted attendees in a now-deleted Facebook post of similar protocol, part of an overall security increase by concert producer Live Nation.

The murderer had been a former "subject of interest" to MI5, but Ms Rudd said: "The intelligence services are still collecting information about him and about the people around him".

May attempted to hit back late Saturday, announcing the new "Commission for Countering Extremism", saying that "enough is enough - we need to be stronger and more resolute in standing up to these people".

Daesh is another name for ISIS, the terror group that claimed responsibility for the attack.
