But Texas A&M scored the game's final nine points on LaCamera field goals of 43, 25 and 33, the last set up by Christian Kirk's 43-yard punt return to the Florida 39 with 4:20 remaining.
Prior to the Aggies' first hostile environment in SEC action on Saturday - they had defeated Arkansas in overtime at a neutral site - A&M (5-2, 3-1) needed to break open a fourth quarter tie with Nicholls State, overcome a third quarter deficit against Louisiana-Lafayette and fourth quarter deficits against the Razorbacks and SC. Moments later, linebacker Tyrell Dodson picked off Florida's Feleipe Franks to seal the win. However, since Florida snapped and ran the play before the officials started the game clock, it was ruled a non-play and the ball was returned to Florida.

But the Aggies controlled the final frame.
Florida, meanwhile, dropped to 3-3 overall and 3-2 in SEC play.
Texas A&M: The Aggies could have used more from Kirk, especially early. But once again, the Gators' defense would bend but not break allowing just another LaCamera field goal that cut the lead to 17-16 with 7:37 left. He continued to miss receivers wide open down the middle of the field and misfired on every deep ball.
It was the longest run by a Florida quarterback since the Gators starting keeping track of such a stat in 1996.
