The Moto Mod speaker houses four microphones so that it will be able to clearly pick up the user’s voice when initiating a voice command. Ask Alexa to request a ride home after an evening out or read the items on your grocery list so you don’t have to bother searching for your phone in pockets or bags while navigating the crowded store.

Easily use Alexa to connect to a variety of smart devices. This is also why the Moto Mod blocks the Moto Z smartphone’s camera, as pointed out by XDA. The dock design also makes it convenient to charge the Alexa Moto Mod. The speaker will be made available in November in those countries with Alexa support. It’s powered by a Snapdragon 630 paired with 3GB of RAM and a 3,000mAh battery, and it comes with 32GB of built-in storage as well as a microSD slot if you need additional storage. This means that the Moto Mod won’t eat up the battery life of their Moto Z smartphone.

Just like the Google Assistant, Alexa is an intelligent personal assistant developed by Amazon.

With the Amazon Prime Exclusive version of the Moto X4, you do get lockscreen ads, but it’s also $329 which is the cheapest way to get the Moto X4.

Aptly called the Moto Smart Speaker with Amazon Alexa, the accessory can do what anyone can imagine: provide the user with a smart assistant on the go.

And most obviously, you can just buy an Amazon Echo for $99.

The Moto X4, which is Motorola’s latest mid-range offering, is now available for pre-order.

The only real reason why someone would want to purchase the module is so that they can have their Alexa on the go, with cellular data on tap. Motorola will begin distributing it in the United States, as well as making it available in markets where Alexa is available in November.
