There are many white-hot games coming up for release this week! Fantasy game fans can look forward to South Park: The Fractured but Whole and Fire Emblem Warriors. If you are into more realistic play, you can check out Gran Turismo Sport, get heavy with WWE 2K18, or hatch a plan to conquer the world with Age of Empire: Definitive Edition.
One thing is for sure, with this week looking as great as it is, you are going to have to tear yourself away from the real money Mobile pokies you have no doubt been enjoying, and get started exploring all this brand new first-rate entertainment!
South Park: The Fractured but Whole: Releases on October 17th
The sequel to Stick of Truth is focussed on superheroes. You are the New Kid, and can choose from 12 different powers, aligning yourself with either Cartman’s Coon & Friends or the Freedom Pals. Fans can look forward to the same outrageous mayhem and cheeky humour that the Comedy Central series served up in spades.
Gran Turismo Sport: Releases on October 17th
Gran Turismo’s debut on the PS4 totally incorporates the most recent console generation. This is done by placing a focus on eSports live events and tournaments, and a brand-new point of view thanks to the Playstation VR. If you are a fan of Porsche, then you will be happy to hear you can drive one in the game!
WWE 2K18: Releases on October 17th
WWE 2K18 is bringing some innovative moves to the wrestling ring this year, including eight-person Royal Rumbles as well as Carry moves. Perhaps the most insane addition is the KFC mascot though –that’s right, Colonel Sanders himself. You can play him as a character. Keep your eyes peeled for the Nintendo Switch version of this game to be released later on this year.
Age of Empires: Definitive Edition: Releases on October 19th
It has been two decades since Age of Empires first came to dominated PC space worldwide, and the remastered version of the classic title brings with it 4K support, fresh narration, and revamped sound effects. All of these can be toggled off if you prefer to play in Classic Mode, and the Definitive Edition packs both the original game and its expansion, Rise of Rome.
Fire Emblem Warriors: Releases October 20th
The Fire Emblem venture onto Switch, its first, comes from the same team that we must thank for Dynasty Warriors. Instead of fighting historical figures from China, however, you will take control of a range of Fire Emblem games, including Awakening, and Fats.
Free Xbox Games Available Too
The next wave of free Xbox games has now become available for subscribers to Xbox Live Gold. This is the second group of free Games with Gold titles to be released this month. As previously announced, the titles include a first-person puzzle game, the Turing Test, for Xbox One, and Medal of Honour: Airborne for the Xbox 360. The latter also plays on the Xbox one thanks to backwards compatibility.
