One man slashed another across the face on a Queens train early Sunday, cops said.

Durden said he was able to run off the train at the Beach 60th Street stop to alert a conductor. He didn’t even realize what happened at first. “If I looked up a little more it would have got my throat and I would have been dead”, said Durden. “I’m like, ‘yo, you slashed me in the face'”. Durden hit the man with a piece of costume he had in his hand from the manga “Naruto”.

A straphanger was slashed across his face aboard an A train in a seemingly unprovoked attack, police said. As the suspect escaped, Durden, bleeding heavily, got off the train and managed to call 911.

The victim in the second attack, Anthony Durden, said that attack left him with a cut that took 20 sutures along his jaw line so painful, it’s hard to talk.

He also had a message for his attacker.

“I was having a lot of fun before that”, Anthony Durden told the Daily News. “At the end of the day, things happen”. “I’m here alive. That’s all that matters”.

The attacker was caught on camera leaving the train station and the NYPD is looking for help in identifying him.

“Police describe the suspect as a black man between the ages of 26 and 28, 5’8” tall and 140 pounds. He was last seen wearing a red, white and blue jacket, blue jeans and white sneakers.
