Campbell’s Soup has debuted an inspiring new Star Wars-themed ad featuring two kids bonding over their love for the galaxy far, far away. Immediately after the debut of the trailer, tickets will be on sale everywhere for fans to start planning when and where they’re going to see the movie first.
In previous years, Star Wars tickets have gone on sale the morning of the final main trailer release.
This rumour also coincides with a tweet from Star Wars star Mark Hamill, who said “watch Monday Night Football on Monday October 9th – for no reason in particular” on September 19th. As far as comparisons go, it’s like Rose will turn out to be the Lando of the sequel trilogy-in a sense that she is introduced in the second film and becomes a part of the major players. Lucasfilm announced on Sunday that it would show the trailer during halftime of the contest between the Vikings and the Bears.
A new tease for the upcoming Star Wars: The Last Jedi trailer shows Luke Skywalker taking his old lightsaber back from Rey on Ahch-To.
Additionally, there is a panel at New York Comic Con this weekend that honors Mark Hamill, so it’s possible that, with the trailer coming so shortly after the convention, Lucasfilm could potentially surprise attendees with a trailer screening.
