The Minnesota Vikings are concerned about quarterback Sam Bradford's knee, according to a report from ESPN.
Vikings' concern re: Bradford left knee (two ACL repairs) but hope.
Bradford on Tuesday had an MRI on the knee after another source told ESPN that the quarterback had experiencing swelling, some pain and discomfort in the left knee after Monday night's victory over the New Orleans Saints. The results of the MRI were reportedly negative, however.
In a press conference Friday, Zimmer would not confirm Bradford's injury or the MRI.
"You anticipate Bradford will start on Sunday?" a reporter asked.
"I don't know, we'll have to see", Zimmer responded, then quickly added "I antcipate he will, yes".
Bradford is no stranger to left knee problems as he has already torn the ACL in it twice so far during his National Football League career.
Case Keenum is now the No. 2 quarterback on the Vikings depth chart, with Teddy Bridgewater still on the physically unable to perform list, which will keep him out for the first six weeks of the season. He was listed as questionable for the game on the team's final injury report of the week.
