The Volskaya map from the multiplayer shooter will also soon arrive to Blizzard's MOBA.
But Heroes of the Storm is getting more than just this battleground from Overwatch. With eyes glowing red, D.Va's outfit is illuminated by the glow of lava. Ana and Junkrat should also make their Heroes of the Storm debuts around that time, so look for more information on these characters in the near future.
Controlling all three points rewards your team with a giant robot that controls like a super-powered version of the two-player Hero Cho'Gall. Junkrat, meanwhile, will likely deal a lot of damage with his bombs, and his Rip-Tire ultimate from Overwatch will be fun to use in the game.
Volskaya Industries will be the second Overwatch themed map to join the HoTs roster. Like Hanamura, Volskaya has Overwatch-styled map objectives, in this case control points (no payloads, thankfully) that behave similar to the ones from Overwatch's King of the Hill mode. Players will need to take control of the points by standing on them, with the progress of taking over a control point interrupted if enemies arrive. Volskaya also has conveyor belt floors around its capture points that can push players around. One player will handle movement, while the other controls the mech's guns and rocket-propelled fists. Heroes and a new map aren't all we're getting: there will be new skins and mounts, too.
Alongside the healing sniper Ana and the explosive Junkrat, the new Heroes of the Storm map is based off another Overwatch property, Volskaya Industries.
