The cards will now be compatible with all Samsung devices that feature Samsung Pay, including the mid-segment smartphone Galaxy J7 Pro, that was launched in June this year.
Samsung Pay is available on a wide range of smartphones, which will enable users to pay offline without the need of a physical debit card.
Samsung launched Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro last month at Rs 20,990 along with Samsung Galaxy J7 Max smartphone.

Further, the phone comes with 5.5-inch FHD Super AMOLED display with the resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels; powered by the Octa-Core Exynos 7870 chipset; boasts a 13MP rear and selfie shooting camera; runs on Android 7.0 Nougat; and drains energy from a 3,600mAh battery.
Apart from cards, Samsung Pay users can also make fast and secure UPI payments through P2P money transfers and also QR code scan and online payments wherever UPI payments are accepted.
Samsung Pay also supports wallet payments - Paytm on Samsung Pay and Mobikwik and Paytm on Samsung Pay Mini, which is created to cater to the unique requirements of Indian mid-segment consumers.
For SBI card holders you will also get a cashback of Rs.100 on a transaction of Rs.500.
Samsung's MST replicates a card swipe by wirelessly transmitting magnetic waves from the supported Samsung device to a standard card reader. This would be a major breakthrough for Samsung Pay in India.
