The infamous "Sky Sources" state that Coutinho has asked to leave Liverpool amid interest from Barcelona.
Both clubs are fringe title challengers and former England midfielder Jenas believes that without players who act as the heartbeat of their teams, they will fade from contention.

Klopp confirmed Coutinho will miss the game against Watford through injury and is doubtful for the Champions League first-leg qualifier against Hoffenheim in midweek. "He's a doubt for Tuesday unfortunately", he said. "You can read it and there is nothing else to say about it" Klopp said.
A member of Coutinho's family has told Sky Sports News that the player feels aggrieved at the way he has been treated by manager Klopp.

This transfer window has seen Liverpool failing to seize all their targets, as they had to apologize formally to Southampton after investigations revealed them using unscrupulous tactics to sign defender Virgil van Dijk.
Coutinho scored 14 goals in 36 appearances for Liverpool last season.
