We live in a time where the phone industry is engulfed in the continuous conflict between Samsung phones, like the latest Samsung Galaxy Note 8, and iOS phones, like the latest iPhone 8, now more than ever because both phone companies are manufacturing brand new products.
While the phones have already been through several scans, leaks and rumours giving us a peek into its expected specs, now a fresh revelation by casemaker Olixar gives a more detailed view of the design of the phones. Further, the case shows cut outs for dual cameras thus, confirming that the phones would come with dual rear cameras.
New renders from MobileFun show case renders of the Google Pixel 2 in various forms.
The image also reveals the absence of traditional 3.5mm audio jack while confirming a long ear-piece speaker on the front. Google is expected to debut its upcoming flagship duo by mid-fall, likely at an exclusive hardware event similar to the one it hosted last October.
Reportedly, the Pixel 2 is expected to feature a 4.97-inch fullHD display and pack in 64 GB of memory. Both the Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2 should run Android 8.0 out of the box, though they may not be the first announced devices to do so, just like their predecessors were beaten to the title of the first smartphones that ship with Android 7.0 Nougat after the LG V20 was launched in late September 2016. We can also expect the Google Pixel 2 to include waterproofing, something that wasn't in the first Google Pixel. And that phone is the Google Pixel 2-the successor to the widely acclaimed Google Pixel which had an aluminium chassis, with a glass panel on the rear, a USB Type-C connector, 3.5 mm headphone jack, and a 12.3-megapixel rear-facing camera.
