Promising Miami Dolphins rookie linebacker Raekwon McMillan will miss the entire season with a torn ACL in his right knee, a person familiar with the situation said Friday.

Tannehill originally injured the knee last season during the team’s Week 14 victory over the Arizona Cardinals. The 29-year-old quarterback missed the final four games of the 2016 season and the playoff game against the Pittsburgh Steelers that followed. McMillan was able to walk off the field on his own without a limp, but the Dolphins now know that he has torn his ACL, and will be out for the season.

It was tougher for me because it’s more and more real“, Gase said.

This time, Ryan Tannehill will have surgery to fix his knee.

Days after Tannehill went down with the injury, the Dolphins lured veteran quarterback #Jay Cutler out of retirement and signed him to a one-year deal worth $10 million.

Tannehill completed 67.1 percent of his passes past year, throwing for 2,995 yards, 19 touchdowns and 12 interceptions with a career-best 93.5 passer rating in 13 games.

The former Panther star was drafted in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft out of Ohio State. Now it appears that knee injury will end Tannehill’s 2017 National Football League season before it even begins. Cutler had one of his best statistical seasons under Gase’s leadership in 2015.

The Dolphins host the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday in Week 2 of preseason play. “It’s just that we want to ease back into it since I’ve been out for eight months”.

The Dolphins need to make a move and they need to act fast. Both players have spent time in the middle, and could be asked to do so again.
