The meeting will take place in Los Angeles, sources said.
Warriors free agent Andre Iguodala is set to be a hot commodity once National Basketball Association free agency begins Friday night at 9:01 p.m. PT.
Apparently there was a reason that reports surfaced on Thursday detailing why Andre Iguodala wouldn't meet with the Golden State Warriors during the free-agency period to map out his future in the Bay Area. Iguodala is open to relocating under the right parameters, sources say.
The Warriors are hoping to hang on to Iguodala, but the team's other impending free agents will make it hard to do so.
The Warriors are limited in how much they can offer Iguodala because the team plans to re-sign Kevin Durant and Steph Curry to massive contracts this offseason, so it's entirely possible Iguodala will be able to command a much higher salary from a different organization.
The 33-year-old Iguodala, the 2015 NBA Finals MVP, has been a terrific two-way player since being acquired by the Warriors via trade in 2013.
Iguodala averaged 7.6 points, 3.4 assists and 4.0 rebounds per game coming off the bench this past season.
