Senior MPs have said they still cannot access their emails today and have been warned that more services could be made unavailable as Parliament's digital security team "continue to work through security processes".
A spokesperson for the Houses of Parliament has confirmed that the UK Parliament's computer system has been hit by a cyberattack.
The House says it is investigating the incident and will take further steps to secure all hacked accounts.
According to Bloomberg, the Parliament along with the UK's National Cyber Security Centre are investigating an attack that started on Friday evening.
British officials said according to the BBC that they suspected North Korean hackers were behind the incident.
Britain's parliament was hit by a cyber attack on Saturday in which hackers tried to access email accounts, politicians and officials said, just over a month after a ransomware attack crippled parts of the country's health service.
Other MPs have also admitted having difficulty accessing their parliamentary email accounts.
She added that remote email access for members has been disabled to protect the network.
"Well, we know that there are regular attacks by hackers attempting to get passwords", said International Trade Minister Liam Fox.
The breach comes two days after The Times of London reported that passwords for MPs along with 8,000 other United Kingdom government and police officials were being offered for sale on Russian hacking sites.
"These attempts specifically were trying to gain access to our emails".
Britain's National Crime Agency is was aware of the attempted cyberattack and is "actively cooperating" with the NCSC, it said Saturday.
It may also nod at alleged Russian meddling in France's elections and North Korea's alleged involvement in the WannaCry ransomware attack that hit United Kingdom hospitals last month.
