Police are responding to reports of a shooting at a New York City hospital on Friday, several news outlets are reporting.
Gunfire broke out at 2:50 p.m. inside the Bronx Lebanon Hospital at 1650 Grand Concourse, according to the NYPD.
The gunman was seen wearing a white coat resembling a doctor's coat, NBC New York reported.
The official added: "It looks like it's an active shooter; we do not have the shooter in custody". Two confirmed shot. Man dressed all in black. "Blood trail leading from second to eighth floor".
The victims were on the 16th and 17th floors of the hospital.
The gunman is a former employee of the hospital, police told CBS' Reena Roy.
