Jomana Abedi, 18, described her older brother Salman as kind and loving and said she was surprised that he had detonated a suicide bomb, killing 22 people after an Ariana Grande concert at Manchester Arena on Monday.
Management for U.S. singer Grande, whose concert had just finished when the bomb went off, said her world tour including upcoming gigs at the O2 in London had been postponed.
Abedi, who was reportedly born in the U.K.to Libyan parents, is believed to have traveled to Libya recently, according to multiple media outlets that cite US officials with knowledge of the investigation.
Ramadan Abedi told the Associated Press early Wednesday that he believed his son was innocent.
