But Floyd has been a player in decline the past few seasons and has an “extreme DUI” conviction on his record that will require home confinement for a long stretch this year. That means he can’t leave Arizona until June 17, which is after minicamp is over for the Vikings.
But he faces certain National Football League suspension after his embarrassing arrest in December, when police rolled up on Floyd and videotaped him passed out at the wheel of his vehicle at a Scottsdale, Ariz., traffic light with a blood-alcohol level of.217.
