Vertigo Games are turning their attention to PlayStation VR (PSVR) and bringing some Arizona Sunshine zombie killing onto the PSVR.

We don’t know an exact release date in June, but it’s certainly one for PSVR players to keep an eye on, especially since it’s been quite successful thus far, earning $1.4 million Dollars in its first month of release.

The PlayStation VR version of Arizona Sunshine will support both PlayStation 4 Pro, and the new PlayStation VR Aim Controller, which is being released alongside sci-fi shooter Farpoint on May 17, 2017.

Real-life weapon handling: Using VR motion controllers, handle 25+ weapons with real-life movements. In the campaign, you’ll explore southwestern America in search of other humans.

Writing on the PlayStation Blog, Arizona Sunshine’s developers made it pretty clear that they’ve adapted the game well for single weapon control. Anticipate attacks, manage ammo and aim down the sights to blast your enemies to undead pieces.

Freely explore your surroundings. The campaign mode is built in bite-sized VR chunks that flow together to form a full narrative.

Experience unprecedented VR realism. And that’s what happens in Arizona Sunshine.

Arizona Sunshine was well received on its initial PC outing late a year ago, although its release was not without a measure of controversy.

Play it only in VR. Step into the midst of a zombie apocalypse as if you were really there and take on the undead unlike ever before.

The game went on to become one of the best selling VR titles for the PC headsets, and now Vertigo is planning on expanding their market breadth with a release on the PlayStation VR this June.
