15-year-old killed in Highway 50 crash identified

The Sarpy County Sheriff’s Office says northbound and southbound cars collided, killing 15-year-old Alexandra Linscott, of Eagle, who was passenger in the southbound auto.

Linscott was a sophomore at Waverly High School.

Authorities say one person was killed and two were injured during a collision in southern Sarpy County. The exact level is under investigation.

There were no other individuals or vehicle involved in this accident. She died at the scene of the crash, which occurred around 9:10 p.m.at Riha Road and Nebraska Highway 50, just north of Louisville and the Platte River. A northbound vehicle was driven by 22-year-old Paige Seaton of Omaha and a southbound vehicle driven by 48-year-old Elisa Linscott and occupied by Alexandra Linscott, both of Eagle. Elisa is in critical condition at Nebraska Medicine and Seaton has not been released from Nebraska Medicine. “Alexandra has attended our district since kindergarten and involved herself in many activities”.

District Response Team members have been available today to help students and staff dealing with this loss.
