Users of the Facebook-owned messaging tool will be pleased to hear that the unsend option - also known as Delete For Everyone - is undergoing testing, and could be on the verge of rolling out to all.
WhatsApp's much-anticipated "Unsend" feature is working, a new report says.
According to WABetaInfo, it could roll out to users "soon".
The feature would be of great help as if a user accidentally texts to someone, the feature will give the person the opportunity to delete the message.
The Unsend function is expected to work on all types of messages, including text, images, videos, GIFs and documents.
GETTYWhatsApp will soon roll out the Delete for Everyone feature
The feature will work on both Android and Apple devices, and will delete the message from notifications in both.
WhatsApp looks like it is in the final stages of testing its Delete For Everyone feature that will allow you to delete a message you've sent, hopefully before those little ticks turn blue.
Reported by WABetaInfo, Android insiders are now testing the feature, with WhatsApp having turned on the dedicated recall server on its end.
The company is testing the feature now on both iOS and Android as reported by famous WhatsApp leaker WABetaInfo.
