"When we expect others to have zero tolerance for extremism and terrorism and incitement, we ourselves will live by this", Mr Al Jubeir said in an interview with Bloomberg Television in NY.

"The longer the crisis continues, the greater the threat to American interests in the region", warns Nakhleh.

"We found that a number of them were working with foreign countries and receiving funding from foreign countries in order to destabilise Saudi Arabia", Mr Al Jubeir said.

Well into its fourth month, the tense standoff between Qatar and the four Arab nations that severed diplomatic ties with Doha - Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Egypt, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) - shows no signs of resolution, as both sides remain reluctant to earnestly negotiate or offer any concessions. Trump, who initially sided with the Saudi-led bloc, had a change of heart because of evidence that a prolonged dispute with Qatar will serve as an advantage to Iran, according to a United States official familiar with his thinking. "This is a solid principle we adhere to", Shoukry told reporters.

A Saudi source denied the report, which paraphrased the official as saying the allegations were entirely incorrect, have been denied, and amount to misleading Qatari propaganda.

Outlining his mediation efforts at a press conference with Trump, Sheikh Sabah said, "Thank God, what's important is that we stopped any military thing".

"We have a lot to talk about - trade, military cooperation, security cooperation", he said, further adding: "We have a problem with our neighbors, and your interference will help a lot".

"We have always said that we are open to dialogue and we will always be open to dialogue", he said.

According to Tech Juice, Saudi Arabia and Qatar are already in a clash since June when Saudi-led alliance blamed Qatar of supporting terrorist organizations and this move might just raise the conflict.

Saudi Arabia's national gem, the Kingdom Tower in Riyadh, will be lit up against the night skies with a display of fireworks and the largest HD projection on a tower in the world.

Qatar has vehemently rejected the accusations and demands.
