BREAKING: Three worshippers stabbed in horror Birmingham CHURCH attack

10 September, 2017

A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after another man was stabbed in Aston in Birmingham.

Authorities say a 24-year-old man has been arrested in a fatal stabbing in Magna of a man known to the suspect.

Police said his injuries were not thought to be life-threatening. The assailant had already left the scene in a vehicle by the time officers got there, officials said.

The victim, who had not yet been identified by police as of late Saturday, was taken to a local hospital, where he later died.

Police said that while officers were investigating the alleged stabbing they found similarities between it and an alleged attempted stabbing at Hellyer Avenue and Palisade Drive about five minutes earlier.

Later someone called police to allege that the disturbance was a stabbing. But a Santa Clara County sheriff's deputy spotted Gaeta in his vehicle on Bentoak Lane in San Jose, and he was arrested soon afterward. Gaeta, who was in the auto, was detained and later arrested. His name was not released.

He was being held Saturday without bail.
