To recall, here is a complete set of specifications for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 8 in India. Also, the Apple scheduled their big event for the first time at their own place today.
On Friday, Samsung's Galaxy Note 8 will go on sale in the United States and South Korea.
Priced at $930 to $960 by United States network carriers, including a dialling and data plan, the Note 8 will kick off a new era of premium-priced handsets, which analysts expect to be joined by $1,000-plus iPhones next month.
The launch is set for 12:30 pm IST at an event in New Delhi and Samsung will live stream the launch on its website. In case, you don't get the update notification, you can head over to Settings About Phone Update, to manually look for the update.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will be priced at A$1,499 and available in "Midnight Black" and "Maple Gold". So, it could be that the phone will get above budget level price. There are three storage options - 64GB, 128GB and 256GB and 6GB RAM in all the variants. The Galaxy Note offers a slightly smaller 3300 mAh Li-ion battery (due to Galaxy Note 7 fiasco) with fast charging capability via USB type C port and wireless charging capability as well (wireless fast charging).
With Google already rolling out its latest mobile operating system, #Android 8.0 Oreo, that has left several smartphone enthusiasts wondering when the latest Android version will be available for their handsets.
The 8MP front camera also comes with optical image stabilisation. The device comes with the "Bixby" intelligent assistant, is water and dust resistant and houses an iris scanner. S-Pen is also there in the box.
