Trinbago Knight Riders have acquired the services of Pakistan leg-spinner Yasir Shah for the remainder of Caribbean Premier League, the franchise said on Thursday.

The Knight Riders downed the Guyana Amazon Warriors in Friday's qualifying final (NZT) by six wickets, reaching their target of 160 with two overs remaining.

We are set to witness a re-match of the Qualifier I when Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR) will face St Kitts and Nevis Patriots (SKNP) in the grand finale of the CPL 2017.

Jason Mohammed fell shortly after, but Gajanand Singh and Roshon Primus stabilised the innings with a 67-run partnership before Gajanand was cleaned up by Ronsford Beaton for 39, which came off 25 balls and included a boundary and three sixes.

He struck an unbeaten 57 off 51 balls to get his Knight Riders side back on track after the dismissal of fellow opener Sunil Narine for a duck. Primus jogged in for a simple chance at waist height but shelled it, summing up the parlous state of fielding in a tournament which has logged a century of dropped chances.

Tanvir, Emrit, Permaul and Rashid Khan claimed one wicket each. After William Perkins failed on Tuesday as McCullum's replacement, the Calgary resident was given his CPL debut.

Hamza Tariq only made 10 runs before he was caught behind off the bowling of Amazon Warriors captain Rayad Emrit. Colin Munro was awarded player of the match for his match winning fifty. The West Indian left-hander smoked two fours and four sixes in his 27-ball 43.

Earlier, The Guyana Amazon Warriors had compiled 159 for six off their 20 overs.

After being put into bat at the Brian Lara Stadium at Tarouba in Trinidad, Guyana lost Sohail Tanvir (8) in the third over with just 18 runs on the board.

Ronsford Beaton and Narine picked up two wickets each, while Dwayne Bravo and Javon Searles chipped in with a wicket apiece.
