Perks for the Mida Multi-Tool exotic scout rifle include an increased move speed and having the radar visible on the screen while you're aiming down the sights.
Destiny 2 is available now on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and launches on October 24 for PC.
First you need to get the Mida Mini-Tool, which is a Legendary SMG given to you from Devrim Kay. Once completing the campaign, you'll notice that you have new Quest Missions on each planet that require higher power levels to complete. The quest is called Enhance, and for some players, finishing the quest doesn't result in earning the weapon. It looks very similar in the sequel.
Once complete, head back to Rahool for the next step. Any will do. It's worth nothing the above can be done during any other activity, so feel free to chip away at it gradually while doing other things. We've listed the steps for you below, along with some advice on how to go about each successfully.
Dismantle five Rare (blue) or Legendary (purple) scout rifles (you should get these during normal play and store them in your Vault). After that, simply return to Tyra Karn and collect your Sturm exotic hand cannon in Destiny 2. Quest rewards that you don't have room to acquire should normally be sent to the Postmaster, only that isn't happening properly for at least those two items.
Bungie began to introduce exotic quests in Destiny 1, and it was a no-brainer that they would continue this in Destiny 2. Our Destiny 2 guide tells you everything else there is to know on the game so far, including Adventures, Lost Sectors, Treasure Map locations and Flashpoints. We'll also detail what perks the Mida Multi-Tool exotic scout rifle has in Destiny 2.
Afterwards, return to Tyra Karn and she'll give you the final step. This means you must be in the air when the enemy you are firing upon dies. It is a weapon that returns from the original Destiny, although in the original game you could get the Mida Multi-Tool from a random drop or a vendor. Accept the Sight, Shoot, Repeat quest.
Then, the Mida Multi-Tool is yours.
