Taking on Luke Blackledge in the super-middleweight division, the unbeaten 168lbs fighter showed menacing power to close the show in round one. The win improves Parker's professional record to 13-0-10KO.
It's not often that boxers would outright forgo a chance to fight for a world title, but Callum Smith is showing that he made the right choice when he chose to participate in the World Boxing Super Series.
Callum Smith claimed a hard-fought victory over Sweden's Erik Skoglund to advance to the middleweight semi-finals of the World Boxing Super Series in Liverpool with the action live on ITV4.
Despite suffering a bloodied nose in the fifth round, Smith knocked the Swede down in the 11th with a left hook to swing the fight his way.
The victor of Smith-Skoglund will next fight whoever wins next month's match-up between fellow quarter-finalists Jurgen Braehmer and Robert Brant, also ensuring their half of the draw - minus the three Britons - will be quieter.
